Patient Safety Is Our Top Priority
In this COVID era, everyone is more concerned about infection control. We follow the guidelines set by the CDC, OSHA, ADA and NJDA. We utilize universal precautions, sterilize all instruments and decontaminate all treatment rooms. We have air filtration units throughout the office that have HEPA technology and UV-C light.
We use the Isolite system to control aerosols in the operatory. Most treatment rooms have double exposures and the windows are open when the weather cooperates. We have extended patient appointment times and reduced the number of patients seen per day to allow more time to prepare the operatories. We will all get through this!
